This collection of 144 original paintings by 6 contemporary artists is a creative visual conception of the combination of the 12 Eastern astrological years and the 12 signs of the Western zodiac. The 3-year project represents a contemporary view of the ingenuous talent of the artists viewed through the framework of popular and historic astrology. The entire show of 144 paintings is on exhibit at the San Diego Art Institute from December 13, 2001, through January 12, 2002. It is then expected to travel for the next five years.

A portion of the proceeds from all sales will benefit the San Diego Art Institute, a non-profit organization dedicated to the advancement of the visual arts through outreach, education and exhibition. (501C-3) 95-1816068

The San Diego Art Institute is located in Balboa Park, the cultural jewel of San Diego. It is open Tuesday through Saturday 10am to 4pm; Sunday from noon to 4pm. Admission: $3 for adults; $2 for seniors, military and students with ID; children 12 and under are admitted free.
